Who We Are

Geoffery’s Garden is a registered charity and not-for-profit organization dedicated to healing families and reuniting children with their parents following addiction and trauma recovery.

All services at Geoffery’s Garden are guided by the best interests of the child, with a focus on safety, stability, and long‑term well‑being.
While we support parents in recovery, this work exists first and foremost to ensure children remain safely housed, connected to their families, and supported in culturally appropriate ways.
Since opening our doors in 2020, we’ve made meaningful progress — and we’re just getting started.
Our impact so far:
-
77% of our program graduates have remained sober for a year or longer.
-
52 children have been successfully reunited with their parents and removed from long-term CFS care — saving the Province of Manitoba an estimated $7.6 million to date.
-
This impact will continue to grow by approximately $2.7 million each year, even if our doors were to close today.
These outcomes represent direct prevention of youth homelessness and unnecessary child apprehension, reducing reliance on shelters, emergency systems, and foster care.

These figures don’t yet capture the broader savings created through reduced strain on the justice system, emergency services, housing supports, hospitals, and treatment facilities — but their ripple effects are deeply felt across our community.

At its core, Geoffery’s Garden exists to ensure children and youth remain housed, supported, and connected to their families and culture.
